This new apparatus bay and training facility allows for the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department to exist in their own dedicated facility located on the same site as the county’s EMS Station
This Pre-Engineered metal building facility provides a heated and ventilated 3-bay apparatus area, along with a large conditioned training/meeting/multipurpose room and a dedicated office for the volunteer fire chief.
The County chose a pre-engineered metal building solution for its cost effectiveness and time efficiency during construction to allow the fire department with minimal transition time. The workshop chose the color scheme and panel design to reflect the volunteer fire department’s branding and to distinguish it from the EMS station on site.
The building construction was chosen to be a pre-engineered building due to the time efficiency and cost effectiveness of this solution.
The workshop chose colored panels that were present in the volunteer fire department’s branding. Multiple panel spacing designs were chosen to give the PEMB structure depth along the facade.
